Welcome to FDC's Spanish website!

As we begin this next session of Spanish and yoga, I can truly say that I am awed by the results yielded by the first session.  According to psychologists and educational specialists, this is the time to teach children any language; whether it is their first language or a second language.  This is obviously true.  The students did a wonderful job and I am quite frankly amazed at how well they are remembering and producing the language.  I expect them to have fun and to gain some of the pronunciation/production concepts that are key to continued language learning.  The fact that so many of them are really good at remembering the words and using them appropriately was a great surprise!  I can't wait to see what happens during the second session; the first session was so wonderful! 

Please check the calendar often.  If your child misses a class, you may send the child to class on a different day for a make-up class.  There will be weekly updates for the families so that the students may practice at home.  Each session is unique, so even students who have never taken a Spanish may join the class for any session.  You don't have to worry about repeats; the sessions cover different material.  This is going to be a great year; I can't wait to get started!
